Taylor Jacobson - Sideways Cross Necklace

I know I have posted on Taylor Jacobson's Necklace. But, can I say I am obsessed with Sideways Floating Necklaces!! I just love the way they wear around your neck. Oh, and the compliments are amazing. I also love the Tiffany Key Necklaces (so out of my budget). So in honor of my love of sideways necklaces and Taylor Jacobson's Cross Necklace, and Key Necklaces, I have combined the 2 and handcrafted a Sideways Key Necklace. It is in .925 Sterling Silver. Made to wear daily by itself or layered. Just click on my Etsy shop on the right.

Kate Hudson -- Who What Wear

Who doesn't love Kate Hudson? Well, found this great image and style over at Who What Wear.com, and what's not to love. I love every piece. Such great inspiration. Especially great for us girls here in the Southwest, where it is cold in the morning and warm in the afternoon. Here we just don't need to bundle up that much. So this look and the one she is wearing are perfect. What do you love? Enjoy.

Courtney Thorne-Smith - Sorority Wars

I caught Sorority Wars on Lifetime on Demand the other day and was pleasantly surprised. Another great Actress that has not had plastic surgery. She looks great and her face looks great!! I am tired of all the actresses with their super tight faces and lips. It is so refreshing to see an actress that looks real. Oh, and she looks great!! Bravo, I will watch her on whatever she is on.

Paula Dean's Gooey Pumpkin Butter Cake

I saw this being made over on Food Network TV the other day, so I hopped on over to the Food Network for a pic and the recipe. It looks so yummy. Even if you didn't like pumpkin, it would be wonderful. It is just a variation on a Gooey Butter Cake. Yummmm.

Ingredients
Cake:
1 (18 1/4-ounce) package yellow cake mix
1 egg
8 tablespoons butter, melted
Filling:
1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 (15-ounce) can pumpkin
3 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
8 tablespoons butter, melted
1 (16-ounce) box powdered sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon nutmeg

Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Combine the cake mix, egg, and butter and mix well with an electric mixer.

Pat the mixture into the bottom of a lightly greased 13 by 9-inch baking pan.
T

o make the filling: In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and pumpkin until smooth.

Add the eggs, vanilla, and butter, and beat together.

Next, add the powdered sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and mix well.

Spread pumpkin mixture over cake batter and bake for 40 to 50 minutes.

Make sure not to overbake as the center should be a little gooey.
Serve with fresh whipped cream.

Christmas Decorating -- Apartment Living - College Life

Live in a dorm or aparment. In college, and not much time or money for decorating. Take this great idea from Pottery Barn. Use pictures as your decorations. You can put these on Wreaths, Trees, or just on a wall. If you put on a wall, use the Post-it picture paper to print, and you can easily remove after the Holidays. If you are using on a tree or wreath, just mount to cardboard, any inexpensive copy of a picture or picture, and put a colored paper mat around it (check the memory book section of your favorite craft store). Then fill your tree with your friends and family. Instant Holiday.

Vintage Vogue - What is old is New in Fashion

I love looking back to the past for fashion inspiration. Vogue always inspires me. The photo below (don't know where it is from) is Jane Fonda. Notice that Plaid is back in fashion this season -- check Ralph Lauren. Also, notice the chunky bangles, again, great style for this season.

I just love this ad. I like the pearl button earrings. I also like the pink scarf around her neck.

Enjoy.

Daphne Zuniga Melrose Place 2009

I am enjoying the New Melrose Place. It is a little slow, but worth watching. What I really liked was seeing Daphne Zuniga. She looked great! What was best about her, was her face. No awful face lift, like so many stars have had. She looked natural and her age. Good for her!!
