Cooking - Fashion - Chex Muddy Buddies

Yeah!! Julie & Julia starts today!! Here, is the fashion part......Remember when your mom wore an apron? Does anyone wear aprons today. When cooking spaghetti sauce the other day it was kind of splattery, so I changed into an old t-shirt. I should have had a fashionable apron.

I can't really cook....So, a personal favorite of mine is the Chex Muddy Buddy. Recipe to follow.
Julia Child in a cooking demonstration. Chicago Tribune Picture. Wish I could cook.

Chex Muddy Buddies
9 cups Corn Chex®, Rice Chex®, Wheat Chex® or Chocolate Chex® cereal (or combination)
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1/2cup peanut butter
1/4cup butter or margarine
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2cups powdered sugar

Substitution
Peanut butter and chocolate are a favorite flavor combo, but peanut butter lovers can substitute peanut butter chips for the chocolate chips to intensify that flavor.
